{"id":8810,"date":"2018-03-09T15:56:39","date_gmt":"2018-03-09T14:56:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.alfaforni.com\/torta-di-mele-alla-cannella\/"},"modified":"2019-04-01T12:12:21","modified_gmt":"2019-04-01T10:12:21","slug":"cinnamon-apple-pie","status":"publish","type":"recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.alfaforni.com\/en\/recipe\/cinnamon-apple-pie\/","title":{"rendered":"Cinnamon apple pie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Serves 6<br \/>\nIngredients:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 300 g + 30 g flour<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 1 tsp. + \u00bd tsp. salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 1 tsp. + 6 tbsps. + 1 tbsp. sugar<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 1 tsp. cinnamon<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 200 g + 50 g cold butter<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 90 ml cold water<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2 tbsps. lemon juice<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2 Golden Delicious or Royal Gala apples<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 3 tbsps. whipping cream<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mix the flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, cut cold butter into it and add some cold water. Stir quickly until the mixture forms a dough.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Divide dough in half and roll each out into a disc with the thickness of a coin. Let them rest in the fridge at least an hour. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the filling, peel, core and slice the apples into \u00bd cm (1\/4 in) cubes. Add 6 tablespoons of sugar and the rest of ingredients and mix well.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gently lay pastry over the greased pan and press it firmly into it and up the sides. Place the apple filling into the pie, cover with the remaining pastry and press the edges to seal. Trim the excess pastry and flute all around the edge.
