Onion gratin

Alfa Pizza presents the video recipe for cooking the typical onion gratin with Duettino , the domestic wood-fired oven.

  •  Cooking flame
  •  Oven temperature: 200 °C
  •  Cooking time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • onione
  • parmigiano
  • breadcrumbs
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Procedure

  1. we begin by peeling the onions
  2. cut the onions into round medium-large slices and spread them in the baking pan
  3. we mix the bread crumbs to the parmigiano
  4. a bit of salt, pepper and oil
  5. then add the breadcrumbs
  6. we finish it with a bit of extra virgin olive oil
  7. bake at 200 °C for 30 minutes
  8. cover with an aluminum foil so as not to dry the onions to much
