Tuna steak with parsley pepper sauce, served on red bell peppers with tabasco and ginger yogurt with curry

Tuna is a must in Mediterranean cuisine. High in protein, it makes for a great alternative to meat and can be cooked in various ways. The islands around Italy are famous for this kind of fish. To cook the tuna steak we used the Alfa Living Duettino oven. Thanks to the chef tools the tuna here was grilled to perfection: crispy outside and tender and juicy inside.


  • Tuna steak
  • Toasted bread
  • Liking sauce
  • Himalaya salt



  1. Heat the oven to have embers to grill the steaks
  2. Place the embers under the grid to heat it, and only when it is hot place the tuna steak on the grid
  3. Grill the tuna steaks 5 minutes on each side
  4. When golden brown outside, sprinkle on the Himalaya sauce and serve
